Expect well-kept cask ales, familiar favourites on draught and something cold ready when you are. Beyond the pumps, there’s a good choice of wines, spirits, soft drinks and alcohol-free options – plenty for another round.
Sunday, Made For Sharing
Sundays are better with everyone around the table. Our family sharing roast is made for two or more, with generous cuts of roast meat and all the proper Sunday trimmings, brought to the table for everyone to tuck into. £30 per person.
Gather the family, bring your appetite and leave the washing up to us.
Monday & Tuesday: 10.30am – 10pm
Wednesday to Saturday: 10.30am – 11pm
Sunday: 11am – 9pm

Over the years, with the help of music impresario Mark Ede, we’ve been lucky enough to welcome singer-songwriters and touring artists from across the world to The Anchor. Our live music nights take place in the room just above the bar, making for an intimate setting where you can sit back and enjoy some seriously good music up close. From established names to artists you might be discovering for the first time, it’s a special little space to hear live music in Nayland.

Join us at The Anchor for a Paint & Sip evening with The Funky Easel. Grab a drink, pick up a paintbrush and enjoy a couple of hours creating your own canvas, with step-by-step guidance along the way.
